[Coin World] According to data from the U.S. Treasury Department, during the most recent two-week reporting period, investment funds purchased $16.785 billion in 30-year bonds maturing on August 15, 2055, compared to $16.557 billion last month; foreign investors bought $3.074 billion in 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds maturing on August 15, 2055, compared to $2.041 billion last month; investment funds purchased $40.691 billion in 3-year U.S. Treasury bonds maturing on August 15, 2028, compared to $42.173 billion last month; foreign investors purchased $5.492 billion in 3-year U.S. Treasury bonds maturing on August 15, 2028, compared to $4.75 billion last month.
