The United States may use tariff surpluses to purchase Bitcoin to enrich its strategic reserves.

[Golden Finance] According to reports, Adam Livingston, the author of the book "The Bitcoin Era and the Great Harvest," stated that the U.S. government could use part of its tariff surplus to purchase more Bitcoin for the U.S. strategic reserves. He suggested that a portion of the surplus generated from trade tariffs should be extracted monthly and converted into secure cold storage Bitcoin, which would not be traded, staked, sold, re-mortgaged, used to fund projects, or secured for loans, nor would it be loaned out for profit.
