Vietnam will pilot a digital asset exchange in the international financial center.

According to HashChain News, the Vietnamese government plans to pilot a digital asset exchange in the international financial center, clarifying three legal security measures. These measures include the development resolution for the financial center passed by the National Assembly, the pilot plan for the digital asset exchange submitted by the Ministry of Finance, and the asset category definitions specified by the new law. The Ministry of Finance is improving the relevant pilot policies and is expected to submit them to the government in August, covering aspects such as issuance, trading, and management. Service institutions can autonomously choose the listed assets, with a preference for high liquidity varieties. The authorities emphasize that blockchain will become a core infrastructure and will strengthen cybersecurity and risk management. The central bank is studying the model for a central bank digital currency (CBDC).
