Everyone talks about how shameful it is to rely on one's parents, but in reality, the lower class has no parents to rely on at all. The notion that relying on parents is shameful is merely a way to fool the lower class. In the middle and upper classes, which family doesn't use every means possible to support the next generation and place their own influence at every level?
