According to the official statement by its team, L2 blockchain World, previously known as Worldcoin, accomplishes massive milestone on its journey to building a general-purpose blockchain for humans. Its newest development, Priority Blockspace for Humans (PBH), is live on the protocol's mainnet.

A first-of-its-kind infrastructure, PBH prioritizes verified human transactions, ensuring speed, reliability, and fairness for World Chain’s real human network participants.

Technically, Priority Blockspace for Humans auto-activates to swiftly clear transactions during periods of heavy network congestion, reserving a portion of each block for transactions originating from Orb-verified humans.

Ahead of PBH actvation in mainnet, World also surpassed 13 million of verified accounts on its main project, World Chain.

Rigorously battle-tested in an incentivized testnet by researchers and developers, including those from Flashbots and Alchemy, PBH is fully open-source and integrated into the World Chain Block Builder and Rollup Boost, a modular sidecar for OP Stack chains that enables custom transaction ordering.
